What Goes Into Every Daily Threads Drop
We get it — buying a graphic tee online means you can't feel the fabric or inspect the print before it arrives. This page breaks down exactly what we use, how we print, and what you should check when your order lands.
Fabric
Every product page lists the exact fabric composition. Our garments are sourced through Qikink, one of India's leading print-on-demand fulfilment partners. Common constructions you'll see across the catalogue:
- 100% Cotton – breathable, soft against the skin, ideal for everyday wear
- Cotton-Polyester blends – added structure and colour retention
- GSM (grams per square metre) is listed on each product; higher GSM = heavier, more substantial feel
Always check the product description for the exact GSM and composition before you order.
Print Type
All Daily Threads products use one of two digital printing methods, both stated clearly in the product description:
- DTG (Direct-to-Garment) – ink is applied directly onto the fabric using a specialised printer. Best for photorealistic or highly detailed artwork. The print sits within the fibres, giving a soft hand feel.
- DTF (Direct-to-Film) – artwork is printed onto a film and heat-transferred onto the garment. Produces vibrant, crisp colours and works well on darker base fabrics. The print has a slightly raised texture.
Which method is used is noted on each product page — check the description to know what to expect before it arrives.
Care Instructions
Every product includes care instructions in its description. Follow them to preserve both the fabric and the print. General guidance that applies across the range:
- Wash inside-out in cold water (30°C or below)
- Use a gentle cycle; avoid harsh detergents
- Do not tumble dry — air dry flat or on a hanger
- Do not iron directly on the print; iron inside-out on a low setting
- Do not dry-clean
Deviation from the care instructions may affect print longevity and fabric condition.
How to Check Quality When Your Order Arrives
- Fabric feel – the weight and texture should match the GSM listed on the product page
- Print edges – DTG prints have soft, slightly faded edges; DTF prints have cleaner, more defined edges — both are expected outcomes of their respective processes
- Colour accuracy – screen calibration varies; minor colour variation between your display and the physical product is normal
- Seams and finishing – check that seams lie flat and stitching is consistent
What We Do and Don't Guarantee
We stand behind:
- The fabric composition and GSM stated on the product page
- The print method stated on the product page (DTG or DTF)
- Care instructions included with every product
- Fulfilment through Qikink's quality-controlled production process
We do not claim:
- Specific durability benchmarks (e.g. number of washes before fading) — print longevity depends heavily on how the garment is cared for
- Third-party certifications (e.g. OEKO-TEX, BIS) — we do not hold these and will not represent otherwise
- Exact colour matching to on-screen previews due to natural variation in digital displays
